Dr. Rafael Duda
studied chemical engineering and obtained a PhD in chemistry at the University Duisburg-Essen in 2009. In the same year he began his career in intellectual property as a patent attorney trainee in a private law firm in Düsseldorf and in Cologne. After further stations at the German Patent and Trademark Office and the Federal Patent Court in Munich he was admitted as German Patent Attorney and representative before the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). He passed the European Qualification Examination in 2014 and became a European Patent Attorney.
Before joining Patent Attorneys Bauer Vorberg Kayser 2017, Rafael Duda was a deputy team lead within the patent department of one of the German blue chips.
Rafael Duda advises German and international clients in all areas related to intellectual property rights. His working areas are chemistry, process technology, electrochemistry, environmental engineering, nanotechnology, metallurgy and materials.
