Henning Budde
He is an engineer and attorney at law as well as a representative before the European Patent Office. He studied law at the University of Augsburg and the University of Cologne. He completed his legal clerkship in Wuppertal. The lawyer and elective stages of his legal clerkship also led him to Aachen and Hamburg, where he already worked for law firms in the field of intellectual property.
He was admitted to the bar in 2006 and worked for the patent law firm Kluin Patent from 2007 to 2021. During this time, he also completed the theoretical part of the course for lawyers specializing in intellectual property law and studied mechanical engineering part-time at the University of Applied Sciences Südwestfalen in Iserlohn. He graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering in 2013. In 2019, he obtained admission as a representative before the European Patent Office.
In September 2021, Henning Budde joined Bauer Vorberg Kayser. He is particularly engaged in the fields of general mechanical engineering, sensor technology and automotive engineering. His daily work covers all fields of intellectual property law with a focus on filing and defending patents and utility models.
He is a tutor of a preparatory course of CEIPI (Center for International Intellectual Property Studies) for prospective professional representatives before the European Patent Office. He likes to spend his free time with his family or friends climbing, paddling, or hiking.
